TRACK –Both the Boys and Girls team had a great start to their season last night against James Wood.  Congrats to the following individuals who placed in the meet:

GIRLS BASKETBALL - Are you in 6th or 7th grade and interested in playing basketball next year?  If you answered yes, then we want you to come to open gym on Wednesday, April 18th from 3-4 after school.  Sign up in the office or outside of Ms. Gagen's or Ms. Seymour's room.   

ATTENTION 7TH- If you want to apply to be a student aide next year, aide applications can be picked up in the main office, guidance office or library.  

CONCERT AND SYMPHONIC BAND MEMBERS – Please report to the band room at this time for Apple Blossom music rehearsal.  

PERFORMING ARTS DEPARTMENT – Congrats to the following Star Students for the month of March:

RISING 7TH OR 8TH GRADE SELECT CHORUS – Any rising 7th or 8th grade student who auditioned and was selected for the 2018/2019 Select Chorus must turn in his /her contract ASAP.  It was due this past Monday.  Please see Mrs. Legge Mauck if you have any questions.  

SHERANDO CHORUS – Any 8th grade student who is interested in auditioning for Sherando Chorus needs to sign up outside of Mrs. Legge Mauck’s door and obtain a permission form.  Dr. Jennings had a change of itinerary and will now be here Thursday, 4/19.  Please sign up BEFORE Monday, 4/16.  

FFA - Congratulations to FFA member Jordan Petrie for placing 2nd in the FFA Prepared Speaking Contest yesterday at the Northern Area FFA Rally at Shenandoah University.  Jordan's speech was titled Food Waste in America.

Congratulations also to Tyler McDonald who placed first in the FFA Creed Speaking Contest.  He will advance to the State FFA Convention in June.  

MATHCOUNTS – Final MathCounts meeting today!  Pizza and games 2:45-4:00.
